The Walloon inland waterways network covers 451km, 81% at least of which is European class IV gauge, i.e. up to 1,350 tonnes. The network manager, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport's Directorate-General for Waterways, has created a useful tool for viewing the details and various nautical restrictions on a route between two ports in the Walloon river network.
