River traffic in the Walloon Region

The Walloon network of inland waterways covers 451km, with at least 81% corresponding to the European class IV gauge: up to 1,350 tonnes. The manager of this network, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport's Directorate-General for Waterways, has designed an Internet site where visitors may consult the waterway tonnages handled throughout the Walloon region.

The site address is : http://voies-hydrauliques.wallonie.be

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport's Directorate-General for Waterways also published a report in 2007 about river traffic on Walloon routes.
